AdventHealth Hospice Care Central Florida is a prominent non-profit, faith-based hospice and palliative care organization serving patients and families throughout Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. Affiliated with the extensive AdventHealth health system, the organization has delivered holistic, whole-person end-of-life care and pain management to Central Florida seniors for more than three decades.

The program provides clinical care in private residences, independent living communities, and assisted living facilities throughout Orange County. Interdisciplinary teams consisting of palliative-certified physicians, registered nurses, certified hospice aides, chaplains, and medical social workers provide comprehensive disease education, aggressive symptom management, and emotional support to maximize patient comfort and quality of life.

AdventHealth Hospice Care operates dedicated freestanding inpatient hospice care centers throughout the Orlando metropolitan region, including the Inpatient Care Center on the AdventHealth Orlando campus and specialized hospice wings in Altamonte Springs. These serene environments feature private patient suites, tranquil reflection chapels, and 24-hour registered nursing care for acute pain crisis management and five-day family respite stays.

Administrative and intake coordinators manage admissions 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. All hospice medications related to the terminal diagnosis, medical equipment such as hospital beds and oxygen concentrators, and specialized supplies are delivered directly to the patient's residence with full coverage provided under Medicare Part A, Florida Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans.
